We are a small family business, established since 2017, running two successful holiday homes.
We both enjoy seaside holidays and after having a family we decided that it would be an ideal opportunity to buy a bolt hole near the sea. After looking at places not too far from our home in south London, we finally settled on Broadstairs, attracted by its beautiful sandy beaches, tranquil setting, fantastic fish and chips and, a popular favourite with our young children, the iconic Morelli's ice cream parlour! We came across Sea Glimpses and after much hard work transforming it with a stunning seaside themed decor, which is much loved by our many guests, we are happy to share this very special space.
In 2020, Sharon felt a desire to return to her roots, having grown up in Yorkshire with fond memories of York. We spent many enjoyable hours exploring the streets of York to find the best location for a base for our visits. We were very lucky to come across County House, which we feel is absolutely perfect for us and our guests. Everything needed re-doing and with some stress along the way the end result was well worth it and our guests love it!
